Celebrate with us as we reopen for our third season of fine Tuscan dining in the heart of Leelanau County. We look forward to having you join us for this annual celebration of great food and wine prepared in the Florentine style.
As we formally begin our summer season Chef Mario Deruda will prepare an extraordinary four-course dinner accompanied by specially imported Tuscan wines.
We'll start the evening with a Prosecco toast with owners Jane Fortune and Bob Hesse.
Dinner begins with a choice of luscious appetizers - Bruschetta al Pomodoro, which is Tuscan bread grilled and topped with seasoned diced tomatoes, garlic, oregano and fresh Basil or an Insalata Semplice - tender mixed greens and fresh fennel tossed with a Limoncello vinaigrette.
The first course - or Prima Piatti - is a choice of Penne al Ragu di Pollo or Risotto al Gambieri e Asparagi. The penne is tossed with a hearty chicken ragu and the risotto is delicious Arborio rice prepared with shrimp and asparagus.
If we haven't tantalized your taste buds by now, please read on. The Secondi Piatti or second course choices are Trota Alle Erbe Fresche - pan roasted rainbow trout with fresh herbs and seasoned bread crumbs or Stella d' Agnello Arrosto, which is fresh herb-encrusted rack of lamb that is oven roasted.
All courses are accompanied by delicious wines from our cellar, specially chosen to complement each dish.
Capping this evening is Tiramisu served with one of our delightful dessert wines.
Dinner service will be accompanied by classical guitarist Brad DeRoche who is an expert on Italian music from Vivaldi, Paganini and Giuliani to current day.
The cost for this special dinner is $85 per person plus Michigan sales tax and a 20% gratuity. Seating is limited to 50 customers, so we urge you to call the restaurant at 231-994-2400 for reservations or visit our reservations page at our website. If you're reserving online add Grand ReOpening dinner in the notes section. You'll receive a call from the restaurant to confirm your reservation.
